Spring Styles; Lilac Love

Lilac is the new black according to the S/S14 catwalks,

different designers are using purples and lilacs to enhance thier designs and

the models are wearing lilac on their nails and make-up as it enhances features

and gives them a brighter look.

Holly Fulton; Holly Fulton are very big on the lilac make up, especially eyes shadow at

New York Fashion week for the S/S14 styles, the make up artists

are using bright lilac colours to enhance the models natural striking features,

this compliment the deautiful designs very well.

Wes Gordon; Wes gordon are using nail polish

to get the trend of lilac across, on the runways lilaic nail polish is being used 

to add a pop of colour to the outfits, this makes your nails look

longer and thinner.

Peter Pilotto; At Peter Pilotto the models were wearing a pastel lilac 

on their lipsthat contrasts with the designs, the lilac lips

are very pale and wash out the tan of the models giving them a very 

pale beautiful look.

As you can tell lilac is going to be a VERY big trend this year in spring and summer,

deeper purples are not very on trend but will be later on in the year 

in autumn and winter. Sticking with pastels is the

way to go, not unlike last year
